These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and any related services ("Services") provided by Rendezvous. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or accessing the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including any services or verticals provided by Rendezvous, such as Rendezvous Spark and Rendezvous LinkUp. Both Spark and LinkUp are distinct verticals of Rendezvous, but all users must adhere to the same Terms and Conditions, regardless of which vertical they are using. These verticals operate under the same privacy, security, and conduct guidelines as the primary Rendezvous platform.

2. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must be at least 21 years of age. By using our Services, you represent that you are at least 21 and capable of forming a legally binding agreement. Rendezvous is not available to individuals under the age of 21.

3. Description of Services

Rendezvous provides a platform for users to connect with like-minded individuals through verified profiles, schedule in-person meetings, and engage in curated social events. We leverage blockchain technology to enhance security and transparency, and we offer both free and premium membership tiers for various levels of access to our features.

4. User Registration and Account

Account Creation: To access the Services, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You agree to keep your account information up-to-date.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately.

Subscription Tiers: Rendezvous offers two premium subscription tiers: Rendezvous + and Rendezvous ∞. Each tier provides additional features such as access to exclusive events, premium matchmaking, and discounts on activities, which apply across all verticals, including Rendezvous Spark and Rendezvous LinkUp.
Future Tier Options: In the future, Rendezvous Spark and Rendezvous LinkUp may introduce their own specific subscription tiers tailored to the unique features and services of each vertical. Additionally, there may be an overarching tier that grants full access to all features across Rendezvous, Spark, and LinkUp. These new tiers will be communicated to members as they become available.
Payment: Payment for premium memberships is made through secure payment gateways and is billed on a recurring basis, either monthly or annually, depending on the subscription plan. All payment terms, renewal policies, and cancellation options will be clearly specified during the subscription process.
Coins and Rewards: Members may earn coins based on positive engagement, which can be redeemed for premium features, subscriptions, or curated events across Rendezvous Spark and Rendezvous LinkUp.
Additional Tiers and Features: Rendezvous reserves the right to introduce additional subscription tiers, features, or restrictions at any time. Any new features or restrictions will be communicated to members through the platform. Existing members will have the option to upgrade or change their subscription based on the new offerings.
Refunds: Refunds for premium membership are not offered unless required by applicable laws or under specific conditions as determined by the company.
Cancellation: You can cancel your premium membership at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

8. Third-Party Services and SLAs

Third-Party Integrations: The Services may include third-party software or services, such as payment gateways, identity verification providers, and event management platforms. These integrations are necessary for the functionality of certain features.

Rendezvous provides the Services "as is" and makes no representations or warranties regarding the availability, performance, or accuracy of the platform. In no event will Rendezvous be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or any third-party services.

Additionally, any interactions, activities, or events that take place in person—whether through Rendezvous, Rendezvous Spark, Rendezvous LinkUp, or Rendezvous Social Events, including meetings, dates, or social gatherings, are entirely the responsibility of the users. Rendezvous acts solely as a platform to connect like-minded individuals and facilitate introductions based on compatibility. We do not control or oversee interactions in real life. All users agree to make their own decisions and assume responsibility for their actions during any in-person encounters. Rendezvous is not liable for any outcomes, disputes, or incidents that occur outside of the platform, including but not limited to safety, health, or legal matters. This includes any events, meetups, or social gatherings organized through Spark, LinkUp, or Rendezvous Social Events, where users engage directly with one another.

11. Termination of Account

Voluntary Termination: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the account settings on the platform.
Suspension or Termination by Rendezvous: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity.

12. Modifications to Terms

Rendezvous reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of these Terms. Continued use of the Services after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct and Charter may result in suspension or termination of your account. Rendezvous reserves the right to update the Code of Conduct and Charter at any time, and members are expected to stay informed of any such updates. These standards apply across all verticals of the platform, including Spark and LinkUp.

16. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices on the platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rendezvous.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
